I am an average 24-year old male, except for the fact that I have Type 1 diabetes. To me, today's average person with this disease appears to be more machine than man. Hence diabetictron. Today's diabetictrons use insulin pumps, glucose sensors, blood glucose meters, Hemoglobin A1C tests, implantable pumps, etc.. This is a good thing for some, but not so good for others(me). I'm writing about my process of getting my diabetes back in control after years of diabetic pandemonium, and I'm doing it the old fashioned way with glucose monitoring and insulin injections.
